August Vinther received Kravlingprisen for his BA-project Drømme som Kvinde (Dreams of a Woman) where he follows Olivia before and after a sex change operation in Thailand. August started the project in the fall 2025 and is still working together with Olivia to tell her story. The project is a mix of digital reportage pictures and analogue Polaroid images.

August Vinther, who graduated this January 2026, also won the Ritzau Scanpix Prize for best photojournalistic BA-project with this story.

Kravlingprisen is a prize for all Danish media students and is handed out once a year. There are prizes in four categories: Design, Communication, Journalism and Photography.
