Zohreh Sadati was as an ECCA scholarship student in 2023 where she graduated both our Photo 1 and Photo 2 programmes. During her study Zohreh worked on two different personal projects and both of them are part of her recent exhibition Intimate Memories: Living Traces at Gallerie du Montparnasse.

Zohreh Sadati’s photographic works began with the series Finding Me developed at DMJX where the project was part of her magazine story made during her Photo 1 study. Photo from the exhibition Intimate Memories: Living Traces.
After the project Finding Me, Zohreh Sadati has made other photographic projects. All projects explore memory, femininity, intimacy, loneliness, identity, displacement and the ongoing process of self-discovery through staged and autobiographical imagery. Photo from the exhibition.
In the series My Feminine Love sketches and drawn elements entered both the photographic process and the structure of the future artist book. Photo from the exhibition
Alongside Zohreh Sadati’s photographic works, the exhibition presents recent painting series created during the past year between Tehran and Paris. Photo from the exhibition opening.
Rather than presenting a linear narrative, the exhibition unfolds as fragments of lived experience moving between memory, intimacy, exile, identity, solitude and the ongoing process of self-discovery.
