Students are playing Marketing Game

This week both our Danish and international final year students are playing a marketing game conducted by photography consultant Marc Prüst.

This is a totally new kind of workshop at our school. The purpose is to prepare the students for the future and to teach them about the market mechanisms in a fun and interactive way.

In a period of three days the students live through a six month freelance business with all what it takes. One day is two months. The students hand in assignments, participate in competitions, pay taxes, write job proposals and a lot of other very realistic experiences. The students also take shifts in being jury members, exhibition curators or the like in order to value each other’s work.

The game uses credits (casino money) and at the end we will find out, who earned the most, who were most active in branding oneself, who wrote the most and best applications etc.

Before they started the game the group of 16 students recieved a one day lecture on marketing, branding etc by Marc Prüst. And on the last day, Marc Prüst will evaluate and wrap up the game.
