On the final day at CPOY the judges selected the winners in the two most prestigious categories, Documentary and Portfolio. The winner of the portfolio categori is named College Photographer of the Year 2011. And again a student from DSMJ were among the winners:
Nikolai Lineres won silver in the portfolio category and with this he was runner-up for the title College Photographer of the Year 2011. This was his third prize in this year’s competition.
With this succes the still division at CPOY ended. 14216 pictures were admitted by 721 students from 132 colleges and universities in 21 countries. There were winners from DSMJ in 9 out of the 13 categories. Our students received three gold medals: Lærke Posselt won in Portrait, Ahmed Hayman won in Domestic Picture Story and Michael Hansen won i Sports Action.
