Today our partners from Photo Circle in Nepal have launched information on our first colaboration workshop in Kathmandu. This workshop is called Introduction to Visual Story Telling and is the first step of a number of activities that Photo Circle and DSMJ will run within the next year in Kathmandu. All the projects are funded by Danida.
Introduction to Visual Story Telling starts on the 28th of February and is a one month course training Nepali photographers in photojournalism. The course will be run by local tutors and by tutors from another partner, Pathshala in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Later this year we will run a master class workshop for more skilled Nepali photojournalists. This workshop will be held by the prize winning Danish photojournalist, Mads Nissen. Among other the co-operation with Photo Circle also includes creating a working lab with computer and scanner available for Nepali photographers.
