Faculty teachers Mads Greve, Søren Pagter and six Danish students are participating in an international gathering between schools of photography. During Thursday the teachers and students will participate in lectures and learn about each other’s programmes. There’ll be a presentation of each school and the students will get portfolio reviews by each other’s teachers.

DMJX also has it’s own exhibition in the container village at the festival. In the DMJX container we exhibit Nanna Navntoft’s first year project “Overlooked Families” and Tor Birk Trads’ BA project “The Mild West”. The audience can meet students plus the faculty teachers Mads Greve and Søren Pagter by the container during the festival.
The container village consists of 9 containers in which magazines, schools and collectives can show their work. Right next to the DMJX container a group of former DMJX-students are showing their work. It’s the photographers Alina Emrich, Fabian Fiechter and Kiên Hoàng Lê, who are part of the Cartel Collective. They’re all exhibiting projects, which they made during their study at DMJX.
– Alina is exhibiting her final diploma project “Stories from Bahnhofsviertel-Frankfurt”.
– Kiên is exhibiting his Visual Project “Overseas Vietnamese”.
– Fabian is exhibiting both his Visual Project “The Blue Flower” and his final diploma project “Dastagear’s Tale”.
