First term student Mads Claus Rasmussen is one the seven DMJX-students, who’re nominated for the Danish Picture of the Year 2015.
This is quite extra ordinary since Mads only started his study at DMJX this February. It must be the first time that one of our students has been nominated before even beginning at DMJX.
The news has also reached the local newspaper in Randers, where Mads lives. They’ve made a short interview with Mads.
The other DMJX-students, who’re nominated for the Danish POY, are:
Janus Engel Rasmussen – who has recently finished his internship at Politiken and will begin his final year of study at DMJX this year.
Kasper Thorup Løftgaard – who graduated his BA in photojournalism in the spring 2015.
Kenneth Lysbjerg Koustrup – who has finished his third term and will begin his internship at Jylland-Posten this spring.
Louise Koustrup – who has finished her third term and will begin her internship at Fyens Stiftstidende this spring.
Mathias Svold Maagaard – who is currently interning at Jyllands-Posten.
Michael Drost-Hansen – who graduated his BA in photojournalism in the spring 2015.
The winners will be announced on Friday the 4th of March at the award ceremony at the National Library in Copenhagen.
