Four DMJX students win at Danish POY today

Today, the winners of the Danish Picture of the year 2013 were announced at the award ceremony in the National Library in Copenhagen.

Twelve – or more than one third of the total number of nominated photographers at this years competition – were DMJX students.

Four out of the twelve students ended up winning first prizes at the Danish POY. All four of them ar from the same calls and attend the same semester.

The four DMJX winners are:

Charlotte de la Fuente and Jonas Olufsson, currently interning at Jylland-Posten and Ekstra-Bladet.

All winners and nominated photographers will have their pictures exhibited at the travelling exhibition and their work will be published in the book showing the best of Danish photojournalism from 2013.
