Two students of photojournalism won at the Kravling award ceremony yesterday.
Tobias Selnæs Markussen won the prize for the best photojournalistic student project with his story Autopia. Autopia tells about the car culture in the USA and is Tobias’ final BA-project from 2011.
Cathrine Ertmann won together with a group of students of journalism the prize for the best journalistic student project. The group of students, who all have been interns at Jyllands-Posten, won with a story about stealing other peoples identity on the Internet.
The Kravling is handed out each year and it’s actually two prizes:
One for the best student production in journalism.
One for the best student production in photojournalism.
The purpose is to honour fellow students for extraordinary good work. The students can propose each other for the prize and it’s two jurys of skilled journalists and photojournalists who select the winners.
