All the exhibitions at Photo Kathmandu show pictures from and about Nepal – made both by local and by foreign photographers.

Photo Kathmandu is a truly public event since most of the exhibitions are shown in the streets or in the parks in the old town of Patan, Kathmandu. The few exhibitions, which are inside are open to the public for free. Every day school children are guided around to the different exhibitions.
