Just before New Year International student Eman Helal won third prize in the news picture section at the Egypt Press Photo Award.
Eman won with this news picture, which she shot in April 2017.

Eman herself was not in Egypt at the time of the prize ceremony, so her proud mother received the prize on her daugther’s behalf.
