Søren Pagter at the Chobi Mela Festival

The tenth Chobi Mela Festival opened Thursday the 28th of February in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Søren Pagter and DMJX participated in the festival, which has exhibitions, talks, workshops and many other things. Chobi Mela runs till the 9th of March.

The traditional rally with dancing and shouting opened the Chobi Mela Festival on the 28th of February in the streets of Dhaka. The Chobi Mela Festival presents a lot af of various exhibitions, for instance with Vanessa Winship, Jan Banning, Susan Meiselas Rafal Milach and others. Also students from the Pathshala School exhibited at the festival. Among the students’ exhibitons was work by Turjo Mushfiq Mahbub, who is currently an exchange student at DMJX.
