Five students nominated for FotoKravling 2013

Each year the FotoKravling award is given to a student for one significant photojournalism story done either at the school or during internship.

This year the jury has nominated five students for the FotoKravling Award. All five stories were made at the school.

The nominated are:

Cathrine Ertmann – for her 7th semester project “How to Die”.

Lærke Posselt – for her 7th semester project “Beautiful Child”.

Marie Hald – for her 7th semester project “Bonnie”.

Sofie Amalie Klougart – for her 7th semester project “Swingers”.

Jeppe Bøje Nielsen – for his BA-project “Lourdes”.

The Jury for the Fotokravling was:

Sigrid Nygaard, picture editor and photographer at Information

Joachim Adrian, staff photographer at Politiken

Kristian Sæderup, freelance photographer

There’s four different Kravling awards – apart from the one in photojournalism, there’s one for journalism, one which celebrates the funny stories and finally one where the students honour the best coach during their internship.

The awards are handed out by the students own organisations at the three journalism schools in Denmark.

The winners will be announced at the award cermony, which will take place at Bremen Theatre on the 27th of April.
